Solar Observing
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Solar Viewing in front of Charlotte Nature Museum
Join our astronomy club members at Charlotte Nature Museum for an opportunity to view the
Sun safely, using members’ telescopes…weather permitting. Solar viewing and parking at
Charlotte Nature Museum is free.

Solar Observing
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Solar Viewing on Tryon Street at Discovery Place
Join our astronomy club members at Discovery Place for an opportunity to view the Sun safely,
using members’ telescopes…weather permitting. Solar viewing is free.

Science Displays
Noon – 4:00 p.m.
Level 1 at Discovery Place
Students from the Math and Science School at Garinger present their award-winning science
and astronomy projects.

Build a Rocket
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on the patio at Discovery Place
Kids of all ages can work with staff to build and launch their own space rocket.

and evening parking are all free.
